The Commission

Two paintings from a North London house undergoing a full renovation. The brief was to capture the building in its transitional state, somewhere between the old and the new. Exposed walls, open doorways, and roofscapes seen through the scaffolding. The aim was to record the house during its most dramatic phase of change, before the builders finished their work and the building settled into its new life.
